As we enter the new academic year of 2020-2021 in a time of unprecedented national challenges, the 校董会 of 浩博体育app affirms our commitment to the mission of the University — to educate students for productive, 创造性和反思的生活成就, 领导和服务于多元化, 动态和相互依存的世界.

We are deeply concerned about the current racial strife and division that exist in our country and are keenly aware that 浩博体育app is not immune from the environment and institutional systems that enable racism and other structural oppressions. The University mission statement and our commitment to those whom we serve require our 校董会 to address current racial and social injustices that have a direct impact on our campus. While acknowledging the past important and successful initiatives of the University on issues of diversity, 包容与公平, current events make us acutely cognizant that there remains significant work to be done as we strive to foster a living, learning and working educational environment serving the broad University community.

The 校董会 affirmatively states and pledges to the entire 浩博体育app community, 特别是对BIPOC (Black), Indigenous, 以及有色人种)学生, faculty, and staff, 我们致力于这项工作.

• Fosters the development of cross-cultural relationships marked by mutual curiosity and respect.
